First People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis for one of the UK's leading main contractors. Our client, have been in operation for over 40 years and are involved in a variety of projects across the Scotland such as hotels, care homes and office new builds.
Our client has shown considerable growth in recent years and throughout this time they have forged long-lasting relationships with their business partners. They will offer strong diversity in projects and have established a culture of professionalism and success.
As a Site Manager you will manage a £20m project in Sheffield to completion.
You will monitor all site activity against quality standards, productivity targets and deadlines.
You will ensure that materials are ordered, stored and used in a cost effect manner.
You will manage all site resources including labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service.
You will also be expected to take ownership of site issues and ensure they are dealt with promptly
Ideally you will have:
10 years experience in the construction industry
Experience of Timber Kit and Steel Frame construction
Experience in Site Management of projects of a £1m to £5m value
Strong awareness of construction details and design development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
